How it all began

Home-building started off as a childhood dream for Jeremy. Even when he was young, he was fascinated by architectural details. He always preferred to take the long way home, winding through upscale neighborhoods, to admire row after row of beautiful houses.  

Soon, he knew he wanted to be a part of the whole process. He realized his dream was to become a contractor and create homes that brought beauty to every detail.

With a knack for design, he was eager to fine tune the trades of craftsmen and set out on that childhood dream. Jeremy first started out building decks and smaller projects, but quickly proved his prowess, got his first loan, and began building homes under Spillman Contracting.

But the road to success wouldn’t be easy. Jeremy's early years in contracting were a challenge that turned into a true learning experience. With everything on the line, the economy took a turn for the worse. Continuing to grow his business through an economic recession was a humbling experience for him and his family.

Both Jeremy and Spillman Homes came out all the stronger, surviving the hard times to re-emerge with mature growth as both a family man and a young entrepreneur. After 14 years of growth with Spillman Contracting, Spillman Homes was born.
